⁶⁸ But he denied it, saying, “I do not know Him. Nor do I understand what you say.” Then he went out onto the porch. And the cock crew.

⁶⁹ Then another maid saw him and began to say to those who stood by, “This is one of them.”

⁷⁰ But he denied it again. And soon after, those who stood by said to Peter again, “Surely you are one of them! For you are of Galilee! And your speech is similar!”
